Bitty & Beau’s Coffee celebrates Charleston location opening

CHARLESTON, SC (WWAY) — The newest location of Bitty & Beau’s Coffee is now open!

The cafe, located at 159 Church Street in Charleston, South Carolina, opened its doors Thursday at 10 a.m.

The shop’s namesakes, Bitty & Beau Wright, were there to cut the ribbon, along with founders Amy and Ben Wright.

Bitty & Beau’s is a coffee shop that employs people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Owner Amy Wright was named CNN’s Hero of the Year for 2017.

“The happiest place in Wilmington” announced plans for a second location in April of last year.

According to WCBD, the business wants to open 10 more locations across the country in the next two years.
