Bladen County brothers accused of selling drugs

BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Brothers with a history of selling drugs in Bladen County and serving time in prison are once again facing drug charges.

Jamie Ballard was out on bond for a July 17 arrest when he was arrested again Tuesday.

His charges include selling and delivering marijuana. Jamie also faces federal charges.

His brother Benjamin Ballard is also charged with selling and delivering marijuana.

Deputies say 36-year-old James Gordon conspired with the Ballard brothers to sell drugs in Elizabethtown. He was arrested and charged after allegedly leading deputies on a brief chase.

Deputies say Gordon was found with approximately 92 grams of marijuana and ecstasy.
