Bladenboro man facing child exploitation charges
BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A tip from from Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) led to the arrest of a Bladenboro man.
According to the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office, the investigation began when the State Bureau of Investigation through the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children became aware of potential child pornography.
The ICAC contacted Bladen County Sheriff’s Office, which began looking into the case.
An investigation was completed, including a phone analysis for an electronic device belonging to 18-year-old Alan Ray Breakfield.
Breakfield was arrested and is charged with 9 counts of felony Third Degree Sexual Exploitation of a Minor.
He is being held at Bladen County Detention Center under a $25,000 secured bond.
