Severe Weather briefing: Damaging winds possible Friday
It’s almost a guarantee. Whenever it’s warm, and it’s not "supposed to be" warm – you’ll find some severe weather to correct things back to normal. That’s a threat we’re looking at heading into tomorrow as our warm weather party will come to a dramatic halt and colder air will be a reality check for the weekend.
A powerful cold front will cross the East Coast tomorrow and bring very gusty winds, that could becoming damaging in a hurry if any thunderstorms form along that front right here in the Carolinas. The time frame we’re looking at is Friday afternoon into Friday evening.
In today’s video blog, I touch on:
- Why we’re so warm
- Why severe weather will be possible/likely tomorrow
- What happens for the weekend
- Sneak peek into next week

Until those storms roll in tomorrow, feel free to just get outside and enjoy this pleasant weather. I always feel like I’m getting away with something when temperatures get this warm in the winter months. Feels great!
