Bobcats prepare for Sunday scrimmage
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Charlotte Bobcats have been seeking shelter inside Trask Coliseum this week. The team returned to Wilmington for training camp this year after staying in Charlotte last year.
You can get a look at this year’s team for free. The Bobcats play an intrasquad scrimmage Sunday afternoon at Trask. The game is more for fans than coaches.
“I think it is great being here and having people come watch our team. Hopefully they will be pleased by what they see,” head coach Larry Brown said. “As soon as fans get in, you know coaches loose all control of those scrimmages.”
Sunday’s scrimmage begins at 5 p.m. Free tickets are available at the Trask Coliseum box office. Seating is on a first come first served basis.
