Boil water notice lifted in New Hanover County

NEW HANOVER COUNTY — Testing of water samples has been completed and a boil water notice is lifted for residents on the following streets in the following areas:

* Brookfield and Brierwood subdivisions
* Murrayville Station
* Lowe’s Foods at Murrayville
* Portion of Gordon Road west of I-40.

Service was interrupted on Friday to allow for system improvements.
