Bolivia man arrested, faces multiple drug charges

A Bolivia man faces multiple drug charges after the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office seized drugs from his home.

Deputies arrested 28-year-old Norman Hewett, Jr., Friday after a two-month-long investigation.

Investigators said they seized crack, marijuana and prescription pills packaged for sale from his home on Autumn Lane. Officers also found a shotgun, cash and drug paraphernalia used to manufacture crack.

Hewett is in the Brunswick County Jail under $310,000 secured bond.
