Book store owner needs help on moving day
If you have a kind heart and a strong back, listen up. Gwenyfar Rohler has been packing up more than 150,000 books after the Front Street building that houses her book store was condemned. Because of the structural issues, she’s legally the only one allowed in the building to pack everything up, but on the February 27 she says she needs all the help she can get.
Starting at 8 a.m., you can help by bringing hand trucks, red wagons, anything to transfer boxes. The books are temporarily moving down the street to the basement of the Old Bullock Hospital Building while Rohler looks for a new space for her store.
