Both bridges going up Wednesday morning

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A bridge tender says both the Isabel Holmes Bridge and the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge will go up Wednesday morning.

The Isabel Holmes Bridge is expected to go up between 7:30 and 8 a.m., and then the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge will go up around 8.

The bridge tender says the bridges are opening so a tug can move through.
