Brave Bootcamp aims to empower women

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — June 4th and 5th there is an event that focuses on various ways women can develop both personally and professionally.

Organizer Khalilah Olokunola says the ‘Brave Bootcamp’ is a weekend of personal and professional development for women who aspire to lead in their business, their career, their finances and their lives.

It’s the inaugural season!  This 1st year theme is “Expect To Win.”  Olokunola says it includes both a keynote and a choice of 9 Battle Station Sessions.  Speakers will be both local and national.

One of the guest speakers is a Wilmington educator, Sabra Wright, who will speak on collaboration.  “I’m going to speak about collaboration as it relates to our spiritual aspects,” Wright said.  “There are so many ministries in our city and nation and each one is fulfilling a need”
