Break-in at Fair Bluff Police Department

The SBI is investigating after someone broke into the Fair Bluff Police department, and stole two guns and some knives that had been seized as evidence.

Chief Marty Lewis says when he got to his Columbus County department on Tuesday morning, someone had forced their way into his office. Two 40 caliber Gloks that belonged to the department, and some knives that were set to be destroyed, had been stolen.

Cheif Lewis says they don’t have any suspects in the theft.
