BREAKING UPDATE: Overheated fan caused brief evacuation at Noble Middle School

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) – Students at Noble Middle School were evacuated for a few minutes this morning after smoke was spotted coming from the attic of the building.

Firefighters say an overheated fan was to blame.
