Bank near Monkey Junction robbed

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Yet another bank robbery in New Hanover County. A man robbed the First Bank at 5102 S. College Road near Monkey Junction around 2 p.m.

This was the fourth bank robbery in the county since August.

The suspect is described as a white male, medium height with dark hair and a goatee. He was wearing a baseball cap, dark sunglasses and a green plaid shirt possibly with a grey sweatshirt on underneath.
