Brides and grooms flock to Bridal Expo

Hundreds heard wedding bells at Sunday’s Bridal Expo in Wilmington.

Carolina Wedding Guide, along with other agencies, sponsored the event at Cape Fear Community College.

Brides-to-be had more than 80 vendors to choose from, providing everything from photography to ice sculptors. For many, the expo was a one stop shop to plan a dream wedding.

“We just came out today so we could get some different ideas for our wedding, because we are getting married on May 30th,” said Roynetta Capers of Wilmington.

Kara Spake, also of Wilmington said, “I’m looking for a bakery for my cake and a florist, just checking everything out.”

Now, all that’s left is planning the honeymoon.
