Bridge at Wallace Park in Wilmington gets a fresh look

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The City of Wilmington said new decking is officially in place on a bridge at Wallace Park.

The city said with the biggest lift complete, staff are wrapping up a few final punch-list items.

That includes minor concrete repairs near Grady Avenue and hardware replacements.

The city said this bridge will be ready to serve parkgoers for years to come. 

A new playground was installed at Wallace Park earlier this year.
