Bridge repairs require lane closures on I-40 in Pender County

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — You may notice extra traffic on Interstate 40 in Pender County tomorrow as there will be intermittent lane closures three miles west of Exit 390.

The closure is needed so NCDOT crews can repair a column under the bridge over Rockfish Creek.

The closures will be in place from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Wednesday, September 27.

Transportation officials urge motorists to drive carefully through the work zone.
