Brunswick baseball teams head to Dixie finals

WILMINGTON,NC (WWAY) — Two teams from Brunswick County will be playing for a Dixie Youth World Series title on Wednesday.

The Brunswick 14 year old team beat Beaufort 19-10 on Tuesday afternoon in Beaufort,SC. Brunswick defeated South Carolina 4-1 on Tuesday night. The victory over South Carolina puts the Brunswick 14 year old team in the finals on Wednesday. At 5pm Brunswick will either play Louisiana or Beaufort.

The Brunswick 13 year old team beat Alabama 16-5 on Tuesday in Seneca, NC. Brunswick will play Louisiana on Wednesday at 5pm in the finals.
