Brunswick Co. deputies search for alleged truck thief

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Authorities are searching for a North Myrtle Beach woman who may be living out of stolen truck.

The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office is looking for 26-year-old Roxie Deerae Smith.

She’s about 5 feet-two inches tall, weighs 135 pounds and has brown hair and hazel eyes.

The sheriff’s office says she’s wanted for allegedly stealing a blue 2010 Chevrolet Silverado truck on April 23.

They say she may be living out of it and staying in place such as parking lots of shopping center.

Deputies say she could be in the Little River/North Myrtle Beach area.

The back window glass is broken and covered with duct tape.

The tag number is ADH2741.
