Brunswick County high speed chase suspect missing

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The search continues for a suspect responsible for leading police on a high speed chase in Brunswick County last night.

According to the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office, Calvin Lee Maynar led a deputy on a high speed chase through Brunswick County, until he crashed into East Columbus Primary Care on US 74/76 in Delco. Maynar and his passenger, his 14-year-old daughter, then ran away.

The deputy caught the 14-year-old girl. However, Calvin Maynar got away and has not yet been caught.
