Rabies clinics to be held in Brunswick County

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Animal Protective Services and Brunswick County Health Department are hosting rabies clinics across the county Saturday, April 16.

North Carolina law requires all dogs and cats four months and older need to be vaccinated against rabies. The penalty for not vaccinating your pet is a $100 citation.

The shots cost $6 and are available at five locations across the county.
