Brunswick event will raise money for childhood hunger, poverty

SOUTHPORT, NC (WWAY) – The Brunswick Sheriff’s Charitable Foundation will hold its 6th Annual Ball on March 3 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

The event will be held at the St. James Community Center in Southport.

Proceeds will be donated to Matthew’s Ministries and Power Walking Ministries, organizations which fight childhood hunger and poverty.

The event theme is “Diamonds and Denim.” Live music will be provided by the award-winning Black Water Rhythm & Blues Band.
