Brunswick Community College to launch lifelong learning program

BRUNSWICK COUNTY — This Friday Brunswick Community College will start a new program called “BILL” — the Brunswick Institute of Lifelong Learning. It’s a unique way for people to continue learning beyond a formal classroom setting.

Kicking off the program’s first coffee lecture series is Ann Ipock, author of two books that take a humorous approach to life.

Ipock will read from her books in the hope that stories of her life experiences will inspire others.

Ipock said, “It’s all about girlfriends, family, irony of life, not take things in life so seriously all the time.”

Other coffee lectures will take place over the course of the next few weeks.

If you are interested the fee for all four seminars is $40. To register for the coffee hour series or any other class in the institute call 755-7413.
