Brunswick County holds its People’s Choice Awards

The people of Brunswick County have spoken. The Second Annual Brunswick County People’s Choice Awards ceremony was held at Dosher Memorial Hospital Thursday night.

There were dozens of categories. To name a few, Best Restaurant, Beauty Salon, Coffee Shop, Golf Course and Surf Shop. For some winners, this was their second year taking home the award. Dosher Memorial Hospital CEO Edgar Haywood said, “We feel like we have a very special relationship with the community. This is a great week; we are celebrating our 79th birthday.”
