Brunswick County Hospice Care Center Groundbreaking

A groundbreaking ceremony for the Lower Cape Fear Hospice & LifeCareCenter Brunswick County hospice care center will be held 9 a.m. October 14 at the 900 block of Old Ocean Highway in Bolivia. The event, open to the public, will take place on 7.35 acres donated by local businessman Louie Lewis and will feature keynote speaker Congressman Mike McIntyre.

The $4.4 million project is a 12,000 square foot acute care hospice facility with administration support space. The building includes seven private patient and family suites, family living, kitchen, library and laundry areas – all designed to meet the needs of patients and their visiting loved ones.
