Brunswick County man charged with cutting a 73-year-old

Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Sherman Aundo Daniels, 53 years of age, over the weekend for Assault with Deadly Weapon Inflicting Serious Injury.

Daniels was involved in an altercation on March 28th with J.D. Daniels, 73 years of age in the Longwood area. J.D. Daniels suffered a cut to the face from a box cutter due to the altercation with Sherman Daniels.

Sherman Daniels was transported to the Brunswick County Detention Facility and charged by Detective Chris Barbour. Daniels is currently confined and is under a $30,000 bond.
