Brunswick County may get new assistant DA

BRUNSWICK COUNTY — Brunswick County may be getting a new assistant district attorney. The new State budget includes money for 30 new North Carolina assistant district attorneys.

This according to Brunswick County District Attorney Rex Gore.

The Brunswick County office may be assigned one of those attorneys but he won’t know for sure until October.

Gore says he isn’t disappointed after not immediately getting new prosecutors added to his staff.
