Brunswick County moving forward with annexation

The annexation of 6 subdivisions in Brunswick County into the town of Sunset Beach is moving forward.

During Monday night’s meeting at the Sunset Beach Town Hall, town leaders approved a resolution of intent to annex.

There will be a public meeting about the annexation on February 5, 2009, at the town hall. The town will notify residents about the meeting in the coming weeks.
