Brunswick County students score low on 2007 SAT scores

BRUNSWICK COUNTY — The 2007 SAT score results for Brunswick County schools show students are scoring below state and national averages.

On average Brunswick students scored a 1444 — about 42 points below the state average, and 67 points below the national average.

Scores at North Brunswick High School improved from last year, but scores were down at South and West Brunswick.

Brunswick County high schools will implement several improvement strategies for the 2007-2008 school year.
