Brunswick DSS chief on leave during investigation

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Personnel problems inside Brunswick County’s Social Services Department. Social Services Director Jamie Orrock is on administrative leave. Orrock is still collecting his county paycheck, though.

According to the minutes of a meeting held on August 6, a private investigation is being conducted.
The head of the Social Services Board, County Commissioner Charles Warren, says they’re looking into “personnel issues.” Right now, Child Protective Services head Don Seeber is filling in while Orrock is out.
