Brunswick hospital lifts visitor age restriction

Children can once again visit patients at Brunswick Community Hospital. Novant Health hospitals across the state today lifted a restriction that barred children 18 and under from visiting hospitals because of the H1N1 outbreak.

The hospitals say they made the move because the level of H1N1 has dropped, vaccinations among kids are up and a lot of kids have already had the swine flu.

New Hanover Regional Medical Center still has its age restriction in place.
