Brunswick students take part in MASH program
Middle school students throughout Brunswick County participated in a medical academy called the MASH program on Tuesday.
From determining prescriptions to setting broken legs on their teddy bear patient, students had the opportunity learn all about patient care.
“I decided I want to be a pediatrician or obstetrician and I thought the camp would be a good opportunity to find out about it and just what they did on a daily basis,” said Ragean Chappell, a Leland Middle School 7th Grader.
The mission behind the MASH program is get our youth thinking about pursuing careers in health care in their communities.
