Burgaw woman arrested for Wilmington stabbing

PENDER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The Pender County Sheriff’s Office served a warrant on a woman wanted in a weekend stabbing.

Deputies arrested Crystal Lynette Smith, 30, early Sunday morning.

She’s accused of stabbing her boyfriend in Wilmington on N. 31st Street around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Wilmington Police say the man was stabbed in the leg.

Smith is charged with assault with a deadly weapon and assault with a deadly weapon serious injury.
