Bus headed from Wilmington to NYC catches fire

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A bus going from Wilmington to New York City caught fire in Chesapeake, VA, this afternoon.

Crews are working to extinguish the fire under the floor boards of the Princess Express Tours bus. The bus has been evacuated.

Thirty-nine passengers were on board. Officials are not sure how the fire started. Another local bus is on its way to pickup the passengers.
