Business as usual at Wilmington port as Morehead City remains closed

The State Port of Wilmington says it’s business as usual despite the Port of Morehead City being closed for a third day. The Port of Morehead City was expected to reopen yesterday, but port officials found more containers with the same explosive used in the Christmas day airline bombing attempt.

A port spokesperson says in the meantime ships scheduled to dock at Morehead City are either waiting out at sea or delivering to other ports first. No word yet on when the Morehead City port will reopen.
