CAA Women’s Golf Championship moving out of Brunswick County due to HB2

ST. JAMES PLANTATION, NC (WWAY) — The CAA Women’s Golf Championship has been held at the Reserve Club at St. James Plantation in Brunswick County the last few years, but the event will not be there this spring. It will be moved to Ford Colony Country Club in Williamsburg, Virginia instead due to NC House Bill 2.

In September the CAA announced they would move the golf tournament out of North Carolina if HB2 was not repealed or voided by this time.
