Cameron Art Museum Features Expanded Kids@CAM Program
WILMINGTON -– Cameron Art Museum’s next monthly Kids@CAM, scheduled for September 15, 2007 from 11 am – 3 pm, will be expanded to include a Colossal Collaborative Community Chalk Drawing where participants can take turns creating a massive chalk masterpiece. Live music will entertain you while you’re drawing as well!
Any visitors who join the museum at the family level or above and will receive a coupon for two free dinner entrees from Sweet and Savory (limited to 1st 100 to join) and an official Sigfried and Roy stuffed tiger (while supplies last).
Children can be inspired by the current William Ivey Long costume design exhibition to make a Life Size Self Portrait decorated with paint, glitter, feathers, and fabric. Cameron Art Museum’s child docent Rachel Walter will guide her peers through the William Ivey Long exhibition. Tours are $5 per family, limited to 20 people at a time and on a first-come, first-served basis.
Cameron Art Museum is located at the corner of South 17th Street and Independence Boulevard in Wilmington, NC.
