Camp Lejuene convoy arrives at port ahead of NATO exercise
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — You may have seen a military convoy making its way through Wilmington Thursday.
About 70 military vehicles from Camp Lejeune arrived at the Port of Wilmington this morning.
The vehicles are heading to Norway as part of a NATO exercise planned for next month.
The II Marine Expeditionary Force is supporting the exercise by sending troops and equipment to train with NATO allies and partners.

Camp Lejeune says the marines have been preparing for several months.
More than 47,000 troops from 30 nations are participating.
