Dogs get ready for the catwalk at Canines and Couture Fashion Show

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A Wilmington event that raises awareness about pet adoption and the need to end puppy mills is hitting the runway again in the Canines and Couture Fashion Show.

The 5th annual Canines and Couture Fashion Show is set for March 16th, 6-8pm, at Wrightsville Manor in Wilmington.

“The main purpose of our event is to stop puppy mills in North Carolina,” said Bridgett Rowley, the founder of Canine’s Couture in a 2016 interview.

The event also highlights rescue dogs that were adopted from rescue groups or shelter.

Proceeds from Canines and Couture are going to the Coastal Animal Rescue Effort.  Tickets can be purchased here.
