Cape Fear Flipper Club brings competitive pinball to the port city
WILMINGTON, N.C. (WWAY) – The sights and competitive pinball have made their way to the Cape Fear, thanks to a local pinball league that’s hoping to draw a crowd to downtown Wilmington.
The Cape Fear Flipper Club is a local, grassroots pinball league that welcomes players of all skill levels to enjoy some fun flipper action and lots of multi-ball. The league, held by club president and founder Eric Sutton, is starting it’s summer season with a special preview and registration week. League nights are every Tuesday at Cape Fear Wine and Beer in downtown Wilmington.
If you’re looking for some pinball fun this weekend, a special Stranger Things Pinball launch party and tournament is being held on Saturday, June 5, at Cape Fear Wine and Beer from 2 P.M. to 8 P.M.
