Cape Fear under fire danger watch

CAPE FEAR (WWAY) — The counties in the Cape Fear are currently under a “Very High” fire danger risk.

The North Carolina Forest Service and The North Carolina State Climate Office say the warning will be in effect for the next few days.

They advise to check this map to assess fire danger before burning outdoors.
