Cape Fear Fair and Expo has something for everyone

The Cape Fear Fair and Expo is in full swing. Hundreds made the best of the great weather Sunday and spent the day enjoying what the fair has to offer.

Year after year, the Cape Fear Fair and Expo brings out the usual suspects of people in search of thrills and good food.

“I like the rides and eating the food and ice cream,” said Hanna Colbert, a local resident.

It is the fair food, rides and games that keep lots of locals coming back for more. Once in a while you will find a first timer who has been won over by the experience.

Whether you like the feeling of sitting on the edge of your seat, or spending the day treating your taste buds, there is something the whole family can do.

”I enjoyed carnivals and fairs as a child, but they never came around as much as this. So we’ll bring them out, have a good time. The prices are great, on a budget it’s great,” said Cindi Edman, who brought her family.

If you did not make it to the fair today, you still have plenty of time. The fair ends November 8th.
