Cape Fear Garden Club raises $90,000 for grants and scholarships during Azalea Festival

The Cape Fear Garden club raised over $90,000 to give back to the Wilmington community by way of horticultural and beautification grants for public places in the New Hanover County area (including beaches), scholarships to UNCW and CFCC and support of Battery Island.

A grant committee meets over the summer to evaluate all the grant applications, decide on which grants meet the criteria, and award the monies.
