Cape Fear Skies Program
Are you interested in astronomy, the stars or constellations?
If you are, you don’t have to go too far to find out about the night sky during the daytime.
The Cape Fear Museum is adding a new theme to its ‘Cape Fear Skies Program.’
Sunday people had the chance to learn about the summer constellations.
The museum uses its Star Lab Portable Planetarium for teaching about the night sky every third Sunday of the month.
The planetarium is a special addition to the museum that the kids seem to love.
12 year old, Justin Willis said “we climbed inside the big planetarium and we saw all the constellations and stars and my favorite part was when the lights got dark and we could see all the constellations.”
Next month’s Cape Fear Skies theme will be star stories.
The program is free with museum admission.
