Career Day for kids at Wrightsboro Elementary

Kids at New Hanover County’s Wrightsboro Elementary had a chance to try on a career for size. From chefs, to ballerinas – waitresses to veterinarians, all the way to a baseball player, kids dressed up and showed off what they want to be when they grow up.

Some kids have their career already picked out.

“I’ve been working on my modeling skills like half my life,” said 1st grader Lynne Harvey.

Lauren Richter, also a 1st grader, said, “I like to bake things with my mom, and I love to bake cookies with her.”

Students from all grades participated in Career Day.
