Carolina Beach ‘dine and ditch’ suspect arrested in SC

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A man wanted in New Hanover County has been arrested in Horry County.

According to the J. Reuben Long Detention Center, Christopher Michael Britt, 34, was booked Friday evening by the North Myrtle Beach Police Department. He’s in jail under charges including defrauding hotel, inn, boarding house or restaurant and disorderly conduct.

Britt was wanted by Carolina Beach Police after they said he left restaurants, including Michael’s Seafood, without paying.
