Carolina Beach finds its new town manager

WILMINGTON, NC (StarNewsOnline.com) — The Carolina Beach Town Council, at its meeting Tuesday, tapped Michael Cramer, a city manager in Michigan, as its new town manager.

 

Cramer, a graduate of the University of North Carolina Greensboro, was not present at the meeting. Council members instructed interim town manager Ed Parvin to extend the offer by phone, and Parvin later reported that Cramer had verbally accepted.

 

Cramer has a master's degree in public affairs from UNCG and spent more than 15 years working for the city of Greensboro in various departments, including finance, human resources, project and construction management, and public works, said Carolina Beach Mayor Bob Lewis.
