Carolina Beach man accused of robbing man at knifepoint

CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WWAY) — A Carolina Beach man is in jail charged in a Tuesday night armed robbery.

Eric William Davis, 39, is charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon.

According to a news release from the Carolina Beach Police Department, officers were dispatched to the 900 block of North Lake Park Boulevard in reference to an armed robbery of a person.

The victim called 911 claiming he was robbed in the parking lot at knifepoint. The victim reported the suspect stole a small amount of cash. An investigation led police to Davis, who lives on Winner Avenue.

On Thursday, police arrested Davis, who is being held under a $10,000 bond.
