Carolina Beach police investigate assault, victim threatened with a knife

CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WWAY) — Carolina Beach police are investigating an assault Wednesday night in which a man was hit with a two-by-four and threatened with a knife.

When a property owner asked a group of people to leave his property on Cape Fear Boulevard, they refused. The group allegedly assaulted the man with a board and threatened him with a knife.

The victim’s injuries were not considered life-threatening. No arrests have been made.
