Carolina Beach boat ramp slated for renovations

CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WWAY) — The State Wildlife boat ramp in Carolina Beach is scheduled for an overhaul. According to official notices, the ramp off Anne Drive was to be closed starting today.

No crews were on hand this morning, however, as boaters continued to launch.

The project will include new ramps, docks, a paved parking lot and a fishing pier. The Wildlife Resources Commission expects the work to start later this month and take four months to complete.
