Carolina Beach woman named to Veterans Affairs Commission

Gov. Bev Perdue has appointed a Carolina Beach woman to the state’s Veterans Affairs Commission.

Col. Jeri Graham is president of the Army Nurse Corps Association and the Southern Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America. The retired veteran has won several military awards.

The 13-member Veterans Affairs Commission advises the governor on veterans issues in the state.
